Ina Mezini

Ina Mezini is the Strategic Initiatives Manager for the Downtown Investment Authority (DIA), where she leads strategic initiatives, special projects, and communications and storytelling efforts that advance Downtown Jacksonville’s priorities and enhance its sense of place. Her work spans riverfront activation, public-space programming, public art and cultural preservation, community partnerships, and telling the story of Downtown’s continued growth and transformation.

Ina joined the DIA in October 2019 as the Marketing and Communications Specialist, leading efforts to promote Downtown Jacksonville as a vibrant destination to work, play, visit, and invest. In late 2022, she transitioned into the role of Strategic Initiatives Coordinator, managing and implementing initiatives focused on Downtown’s public spaces, cultural assets, and sense of place before becoming Strategic Initiatives Manager in 2026.

Prior to joining the DIA, Ina worked as a Marketing Coordinator for Pond, a full-service architecture and engineering firm, where she was responsible for producing proposals, developing SF330s, preparing presentation materials, and researching and leveraging business development opportunities.

Ina holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communications with a concentration in Advertising from the University of North Florida.
