To ensure the Walk of Fame reflects the true depth of Jacksonville’s music history, the DIA has formed a special committee of local historians, musicians, authors, and industry professionals.

Notice is hereby given that the City of Jacksonville Downtown Investment Authority (“DIA”) is hosting an in-person meeting of the Walk of Fame Committee (“Committee”) on Thursday, April 17th at 4:00 p.m. at 29 W. Duval Street. The purpose of the meeting is to define and finalize the criteria for inclusion in the Walk of Fame.

Walk of Fame Committee
The waterfront of the Jacksonville Center for the Performing Arts is being transformed into a vibrant park celebrating the city’s rich musical heritage. Planned features include a Musical Heritage Garden honoring musicians and composers with Jacksonville ties through interactive art elements and a Walk of Fame.
