Scott A. Wilson

Scott Wilson has served the City of Jacksonville for 35 years. Scott managed a variety of departments within the Office of the Clerk of the Circuit and County Courts before transferring to the legislative branch in 2007. Scott served as a staff member before being elected as a member of the Jacksonville City Council in 2015. He was then elected by his colleagues to serve as its President during the 2019-2020 council year.

On July 1, 2023, Scott returned to city hall as a liaison to the Jacksonville City Council for Mayor Donna Deegan. On March 1, 2025, Scott transferred to the DIA, serving as Capital Projects Manager, where he oversees the many capital projects under construction in downtown Jacksonville. 

Scott served as a mentor through Take Stock in Children and the Florida Youth Challenge Academy for ten years. Scott also serves on the board of Walk-Off Charities. Scott has lived in Jacksonville for 50 years and is a new resident of the Cathedral Hill neighborhood in Downtown.
