James P. (Jim) Citrano, Jr.

James P. (Jim) Citrano, Jr. is Senior Vice President and Commercial Real Estate Banker for Seacoast Bank’s North Florida Region. Jim is responsible for the growth and management of Seacoast’s regional real estate loan portfolio via the origination of construction, development and permanent loans that include all commercial asset classes.
Before joining Seacoast, Jim spent seven years with BB&T as Commercial Real Estate Manager where he and team of local bankers successfully originated and managed a portfolio of both commercial and residential development loans. Prior to BB&T, Jim was a mortgage banker with Berkadia, a joint venture between Berkshire Hathaway and Leucadia National.
Jim has a diverse background in both commercial real estate finance and real estate development. After graduating from the Florida State University in 1990 with a B.S. in Finance, he received formal credit training with Southeast Bank in Miami, Florida. Jim returned to his hometown of Jacksonville where he spent 13 years as a commercial real estate banker for various financial institutions, most notably, Wachovia (formerly First Union). In 2004, Jim transitioned from finance to real estate development with McGarvey Residential Communities. While with McGarvey, he was Project Manager for the Old San Jose community, which was the redevelopment of a 300 unit apartment project into an upscale, riverfront residential community in Jacksonville’s San Marco neighborhood.
Jim is a life-long resident of Jacksonville and lives in the San Jose neighborhood with his wife, Hillary and their three children. Jim formerly served on the board of the Jacksonville Housing and Finance Authority and currently serves on the board of the North Florida Builders Association.
Mr. Citrano is the immediate Past Chair of the DIA Board.
