Notice is hereby given that the City of Jacksonville Downtown Investment Authority (“DIA”) and University of Florida (“UF”) is hosting a hybrid in-person/virtual Brunch & Learn workshop meeting on Thursday, April 24th, at 10:00 am. The brunch and learn noticed herein can be accessed in-person at City Hall, Lynwood Roberts Room or virtually through the Zoom US computer application. Speakers will include Morteza “Mori” Hosseini, Chair, The University of Florida Board of Trustees; Dr. David Norton, PhD. Vice President for Research; and Dwan Courtney, Director of the Office of Small Business Relations, University of Florida, as well as other UF and DIA staff.
The purpose of the brunch and learn is to provide information regarding upcoming legislation concerning the University of Florida Jacksonville Campus and Florida Semiconductor Institute.
The DIA will provide brunch and light refreshments for City Council members.
